"The house was very clean upon arrival. It had been recently updated as well. The kitchen and dining area had a nice open feel to them with plenty of cupboard space. The living room furniture had plenty of seating and was very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable and the tiled showers were a nice touch. It seemed like they could have given us a little better deal on the price since we rented it at the last minute and it probably wouldn't have been occupied if we hadn't. However, this was not a big enough deal to give less than five stars. I would highly recommend Eagles Rest to future guests."

"We enjoyed the house , thank goodness for Brian the handyman we had several issues he responded so quickly . Internet was spotty but knew that from other reviews . Note for owner too many Knick knacks was afraid we would break things moving them out of the way just to have a place to put our things 1 available closet for 3 bedroom was a negative .
Not a house thing but all the golf carts and under aged drivers has changed Ocracoke for the negative it’s no longer a quiet relaxing place .

"Beach time no Wi-Fi - Over all the house was great. My main frustration was that I couldn’t get the internet to work the entire stay so we left a day early to get back to WiFi. Unfortunately when on vacation I still have to work so this was my only complaint about the property. I couldn’t get in touch with anyone until the day before we left, and even then they couldn’t get the internet working."
