Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless Internet access, and streaming TV. Washer and dryer.
The exterior offers a private boat dock, a large deck, screened porch, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, and fish cleaning bench. 2 single kayaks and 1 double kayak. Life jackets are not provided. If you wish to rent them, please get in touch with Ride The Wind Surf Shop. They will be happy to assist.
This home does not provide linens.
No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. The fireplace is not available. Limit of 3 vehicles.
No Partial Stays.

"We stayed at "Long Way Home" NP03 in June of 2024 and were very pleased with our stay. The house was very nice and the views were outstanding. The rental company was very easy to work with and very responsive. We had no issues and would recommend this property for anyone looking for great water views (especially sunsets) and a quite neighborhood. Owners left a nice welcome card upon our arrival. Wonderful property."

"Great week on the Island! The house was clean and comfortable as it was last year. A couple of suggestions: blinds on the dining room and kitchen door for privacy from deck next door.
Also, the AC filter looks like it hasn't been changed in years!! Otherwise, great!"

This house is the best one we have ever stayed at. Beautiful views of the sound, screen porch to sit on for early morning coffee and sit and watch the sun go down every evening. Fish off the dock, large bedrooms, beautiful view from living room. Well stocked kitchen. We just can’t say enough. Can’t wait to go back.! Thank you for sharing you piece of heaven with us."

"November 2018 Stay We've been coming to Ocracoke for 5 years and the Badger Bungalow is far and away the best one we've ever stayed at! It's got a great porch, a screened in outdoor eating area, has a great dock for easy fishing and is within walking distance to Zilly's and the downtown shops. More importantly, it feels like a home instead of a rental property. We had some rainy days while we visited, but luckily the place was stocked with more than enough games and puzzles to keep us occupied. We finished two puzzles that featured local scenes and they had all their pieces! We are already looking forward to our next trip here! "
