Absolutely loved this place!
This was just the perfect little place for the 4 of us! When we got there and was unpacking some people were walking up the street from Howard's Pub and they asked my husband was it an actual church? He invited them in and they were just as excited as we were! The church/house was super clean and very roomy! I fell in love with the double sink cabinet in the master bathroom! The owner's watercolors are on display in the main area of the house and are absolutely beautiful! We just loved everything about this house and it's location. I would definitely recommend staying there and I hope we'll stay there again real soon! "

i loved my stay at the church.it was so comfortable.it was so close to everything. i enjoyed the large living room, there was room for all my guests.. the beds were very comfortable, and bedding was colorful. the porch was great to go and relax after a busy day.i appriciated the desk, where i could set up my computer and check my mail. the kitchen was very well stocked with appliances.. i loved the dishes but was afraid to use them..i am very thankful to Ocracoke Island Realityand Our State magazine for picking me as the winner of the week long stay and the use of a golf cart, also the gift cards.. the stay was wonderful and I would love to come and stay here again., made many memories here. thanks again...Elizabeth Davis...."

We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning to come back next year. The church is such an interesting, different place to stay. We likes that it was closer to the beach than most homes on the island. The beds were not great, but they were not bad. The master bathroom was so roomy! We loved that there was a laundry room with a sink, counter, and cabinets. The biggest negative was the mold growing on the ceiling vents in the living room. It smelled when the AC cycled on. Mold scares us, but I guess we figured we wouldnt die from breathing it for one week. I do hope the owners clean the ventilation system. Otherwise, the house was very clean. A big positive was that the central air conditioning worked reasonably well. Weaker in the bedrooms but awesome in the great room and kitchen. The fans in the bedrooms really helped. Overall, a fun place where we plan to stay again. "
