Once used by local fisherman as a net house, this fully refurbished Ocracoke Island vacation cottage, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, is in a quiet area near Pamlico Sound. Also within walking distance of harbor, shops, and restaurants.

One Bedroom cottage with Queen bed. 1 Bath (shower only).

Amenities include wall unit A/C and heat, kitchen/living area w/ceiling fan, complimentary wireless internet access, and streaming TV. The kitchen offers a microwave, stove top and large toaster/convection oven for your vacation meal preparation.

The exterior offers a screened porch, deck, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, picnic table and fish cleaning bench.

*This home does not provide linens.

No Dishwasher. NO WASHER. NO DRYER.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Parking for 2 vehicles.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Another wonderful vacation
We love Ocracoke, and this is our second time staying at the Net House. We love it! It's small, cozy, simple, and in a great location. It's our favourite place to stay. Only issue with cleanliness was quite a few dead bugs in the shower stall. Otherwise cleanliness was excellent.

our stay was great. we enjoyed the island even though not much was was open. i will tell you though that when we left someone had gone thru our garbage can and dumped out all the trash and put the plastic bags on top of the can?? has this happened before?

Delightful
We had the lovliest of weeks at Ocracoke, staying in the Net House. The house is charming and cozy, and the location is perfect. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing & peaceful
Loved The Net! Was perfect for the 2 of us Though we knew there wasn't a washer & dryer when booking we did miss it Look forward to coming back again soon!

The Net House was the perfect stay for our little family. Perfect location, very quiet and private. It had more amenities inside than what was advertised and was much larger than it appeared in the photos, which was a huge plus! Will absolutely be back!

Three years ago, I Googled “surf fishing” and “bicycle friendly”. Ocracoke came up on both lists. I found Ocracoke Realty Company; they recommended The Net House WP08. My wife and have stayed there five times and have reservations to stay there again. We haven’t found another place we like better.

Net House
It was a lovely time in a perfect cottage for 2. We've been renting for 10 years on the OBX. This was impeccably clean. Comfy bed!! We'd recommend this listing to anyone looking at Oceacoke.

RUSTIC AND CHARMING BEACH HOME
We walked into a the Perfect little Rustic but Charming Beach Home ! This home was Welcoming and Spotless, and was everything my husband and I needed and wanted for our vacation. Ocracoke Island is a bit Magical and will most definitely be our destination for next year or Hopefully Sooner. NET HOUSE will be our home away from home from now on !!
