Relax and enjoy Doc's Holiday for a fabulous Ocracoke vacation. This comfortable reverse floorplan home is tastefully decorated and well appointed. Conveniently located, just a short walk or bike ride to the coffee shop, the library and several local shops and restaurants.
The second floor offers an open living room, dining room, kitchen and den area. A furnished sun deck expands your living area to the outdoors.
3 bedrooms, 3 Baths: Primary Bedroom with Queen and private bath. One bedroom with Queen and one bedroom with two Twins (which share a bathroom with shower only). Second floor full bath.
Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and 3 cable TVs. Workstation offering 18" monitor, keyboard and mouse (wired) and a powerstrip. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play.
The exterior offers a screened porch with picnic table, open and covered deck, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, fish cleaning bench, and an additional picnic table located under the house. Paved covered parking.
Partial City Water. This home has City Water throughout with the exception of 1 bathroom which has filtered and chlorinated harvested rainwater which could be limited during extreme drought conditions.
*Sheets and towels are provided and beds will be made for your arrival.
No Smoking. Pet Friendly - 1 Dog Only. No Puppies Please. Parking is Limited to 2 vehicles.
Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at time of booking.
Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

This was a nice home to visit and I would not hesitate to visit again. It was nice to arrive and have sheets/towels available - no need to pack!! The home is nicely appointed - anything you need should be available. If you want outside, there is nice seating on the top deck and out front (not so much on the screened in porch- these were high sitting chairs which are difficult for me to access) and a grill that was spotless. If you want inside, there are comfy couches and a supply of puzzles, games and books. (One note- the TV is streaming which is NOT my thing. I want to turn on the local news for highlights & turn it back off. This was not an easy task - give me regular cable/over the air so I can just choose NBC, CBC, etc.) I'm already thinking about my next trip and perhaps, I'll luck out and this home will be available.- Posted: 6/1/2024
