Description Description
This artistic cottage in a private Ocracoke neighborhood is as unique and beautiful as the shell for which it is named. Olivella has a special feel created by an open floor plan, high ceilings, eclectic artwork and antique lamps. Enjoy sitting on porches and decks including one on the roof to take in the incredible sunsets, stars and Pamlico Sound. This charming home has a fully equipped kitchen that is sure to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay during both summer and winter holiday seasons.

3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: 2 with King, 1 with Queen.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary satellite internet provided by Starlink, Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play. High chair.

Double door dog crate (42″L x 28″W x 30″H and includes an adjustable divider).

Outside, there is a covered front porch, a screened back porch with a dining table and chairs and a hammock for lounging, a second-floor deck to catch the afternoon sun, and a lookout deck on the roof. Hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning station, park-style charcoal grill, café’ table with chairs, and a concrete picnic bench.

We thought the house and its location were outstanding until it rained. We loved being inside the lovely cottage. The kitchen was well stocked and the king bed upstairs was very comfortable. After the rain, the entire yard, driveway and access road (Sarah Ellen) flooded. We had a wonderful time but had to wade through about 4 inches of water to get to the car and drive to drier parts of the island to walk our dog after it rained. We were unable to walk or bike for 48 hours after the rain.

A Wonderful House
If we could live here, we would. Tastefully appointed and eminently functional in a quiet neighborhood, we highly recommend this house to other travelers.

This was the fourth time I have stayed at Olivella. It was the cleanest ever and the yard was so nicely mowed. I had a wonderful time and thank you! Dr Palmer

The Olivella is a great house in a great location. OIR was attentive to our report of a hole at the bottom of the outside front staircase. It was repaired quickly. Thank you. Wish the owners would provide comfortable seating for 6 on the screened porch so we didn’t have to rent chairs. Great vacation again!

Wonderful House with everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we might need and the view from the top deck was awesome. Easy check in and check out!
