Description
Animal House is a beautiful newly constructed pet friendly home located in Ocracoke's Pamlico Point community. Pamlico Point offers the closest access to Ocracoke's wonderful beaches. You will enjoy a short bike ride to restaurants, a grocery store, and the nearby beach access. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home features a reverse floor plan offering long range views from the decks and second floor living areas.
The reverse floor plan offers all three bedrooms and two full baths on the first floor. The spacious open living area on the upper level features vaulted ceilings throughout the kitchen, living and dining areas.
3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: Primary Bedroom with King Bed. One bedroom with Queen Bed and one bedroom with Pyramid Bed (Double on bottom/Twin on top).
Amenities include screened porch, central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access and 2 cable TV’s. The kitchen offers a spacious bar. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play.
Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival, with the exception of the top bunk.
The exterior offers covered and open decks. Outdoor shower. Covered parking.
Pet Friendly - Dogs Only.
No Smoking.
Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

?We have stayed in more than 20 different places in the 25 years we have been coming to our beloved Ocracoke Island - and Animal House is by FAR our most favorite ever! Huge thanks to house-keeping, as it was impeccably clean and absolutely spotless upon our arrival! We loved the quiet, tucked-away location; the reverse floor plan; the light-filled, airy feel throughout the whole house; the sunny decks; the screened porch; the beautiful, professionally-curated decor; the comfortable beds; the excellent water pressure; the gorgeous and well-stocked kitchen; the comfortable dining room chairs...literally everything! Thank you for providing such a dog-friendly haven for us during the holidays after working hard all year! It's our favorite time of year at Ocracoke, and we plan to book it again!- Posted: 1/1/2025

The pillows in the main bedroom were very hard and we switched them for pillows in the other bedroom. We finally figured out how to get Fox News on the TV. The young lady who came to help us was very nice. The home had no "instructions" with it. Usually a home will have a sheet instructing trash pickup, TV use, etc.- Posted: 11/19/2024

Animal house was a wonderful place to stay and relax. Nice layout and multiple areas to get away and relax. The layout of furniture in front of the tv was questionable. There is a better way for the layout to work but we worked with how it was. The can opener doesn't work so I would recommend getting a newer one along with a knife sharpener as the knifes were all dull. The hose at the ground level was great and convenient. Would stay there again and hope to again one day.- Posted: 10/11/2024

The house and service was excellent with the exception of furniture age and comfort. We would not rent this house again with the current furniture situation. Will definitely rent from you again!!- Posted: 9/20/2024

We loved our stay at Animal House! The house is so new with a well equipped kitchen as we cook almost every night. The beds were super comfy and the house is so quiet. The house was super clean also! Everything was wonderful and hopefully we can come back again some time!- Posted: 8/23/2024

The house was beautiful and VERY well outfitted with supplies! However, the “trip internet” used for the house was absolutely atrocious. We had to start a “daily session” every day, it multiple times a day it would kick off a device here or a device there (while the others all worked fine!). My husbands work computer wouldn’t even allow him to connect to the internet with its security settings which has NEVER happened…he can work at a Starbucks easier than this rental house. Please please please get normal internet!!! We want to go for 2 weeks + next year and now will have to vet all the houses before booking because as remote workers we NEED decent internet!- Posted: 8/16/2024
