This inviting pet friendly home provides families with an ideal location and comfortable setting for an Ocracoke getaway. Enjoy Ocracoke's amazing sunsets and long distance views including Pamlico Sound, a nearby saltwater pond, tranquil marsh and distant ocean views. You will appreciate an easy stroll or bike ride to several popular island restaurants and the island grocery store.

4 Primary Bedrooms, 4.5 Baths: 1 with King, 3 with Queen.

Enjoy the convenience of four master bedrooms each with private bath. The first floor offers three bedrooms: two master bedrooms with Queen bed, private bath and covered porch. One first floor master bedroom with Queen, private bath and screened porch. The second floor master bedroom offers a King bed and private bath.

After spending a day in the sun, family and friends will enjoy gathering in the second floor living area featuring an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings or enjoy a pleasant Ocracoke evening on the outdoor decks and porches.

The second floor living area includes an open living and dining area and well equipped kitchen. Enjoy a screened porch with dining table off the dining area and open deck off the living area featuring amazing long distance views.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 5 cable TVs, and a surround sound speaker system. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play. High chair.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers a hot/cold outdoor shower, gas grill and fish cleaning bench.

Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limit of 2 Dogs.

No Smoking. Maximum 5 Vehicles.

No Partial Week Stays.

Our week in Ocracoke was great, as always. The property, Beyond Buxton, was a great house with all the amenities needed for a great vacation with a large group, had everything we needed and the view out of every window is spectacular!

Despite the Tropical Storm Debby weather, we so enjoy our “annual” stay at Beyond Buxton. The house is always so neat and tidy! A big shout out to the “maintenance” department who was so quick and helpful in replacing a broken blender! Have already booked our week for next year!

The house is well-appointed with amazing views of the nearby marshland/dunes and deck-side seats to the Maurice Ballance Park ballfield. The location is suitable for bike-riding or even walking to Silver Lake for dining out and shopping. Having four fairly equal bedrooms with their own bathroms makes a stay for four couples perfect. We plan to return next year!

Killer Views

Beyond Buxton was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of space for everyone and the views from the top floor were some of the best I've seen on the island. Sunsets and Sunrises were such a treat. Can see almost to far north end and ferry dock. Close to Howard's, the Variety Store, and Tradewinds and just a 5 minute golf cart ride to Silver Lake and the Village, the home is a quick hop to the beaches. House was so clean and the ceiling fans and AC cranked! Great showers and the kitchen has everything you could want Thank you...will be back.

As always, we love the house! It fits our growing family. Dishwasher and other upgrades were noticed and appreciated. Lighting, within and outside need noticing. The track lighting in the kitchen had issues last year and this year, NONE of the lights worked, leaving it rather dark…an electrician was contacted, but the problem remained throughout our stay. Other lighting outages left evening hours dim. Possible review of indoor and outdoor lighting with cleaning crew could help to alleviate this issue. The house has every possible utensil and kitchen gadget, except a pair of kitchen scissors…could this be added? This would certainly surpass the kindergarten scissors currently in the drawer!
