This spacious canal front home is located in the Oyster Creek subdivision on Ocracoke Island and boasts a distant view of Pamlico Sound. Convenient private docking for the avid boater with easy access to Pamlico Sound.

This family friendly home offers comfortable accommodations that include a first floor living area and second floor den.

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: Two Bedrooms each with a Queen. One with Two Double beds. Both baths have a tub/shower.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and 2 satellite TVs. Washer and dryer in ground level laundry shed.

The exterior offers private boat dockage, bulkhead, a screened porch, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, fish cleaning bench and private storage room for beach gear.

*This home does not provide linens.

No Pets Allowed.

No Smoking.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

We loved Hammock View. It’s a great house and we always enjoy being on the canals in Oyster Creek. One suggestion would be for the owner(s) to add a ladder to the dock or a short platform (like the house next door) to make it easier to get out of kayaks there. One of our reasons for staying in OC is for the canal and sound access with kayaks.

Not too happy about the lack of Internet or the poor quality of the dockside chairs.

I contacted maintenance early in our stay to say the Internet wasn’t working. The solution was to unplug the router & plug it back in, which I did but it still didn’t work. I didn’t hear back nor was it ever fixed.

Good stay. Things in house could be upgraded, shower head upstairs and shower curtain too short on main floor. Furniture leaves a lot to be desired.

We LOVED Hammock View house! It was the perfect location, extremely clean and just what we needed! We would love to stay again!

This particular week after Labor Day was perfect: sunny skies, warm but refreshing Atlantic Ocean water, slight breeze every day at the beach. Hammock View on the canal was just right for us, comfortable and clean.
