Welcome to pet friendly Exiled on Main Street. This spacious historic home is located on Ocracoke’s main road. Enjoy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the local grocery store, and 1718 Brewing Ocracoke, located right next door.

This unique home includes a two-story main home with 5 bedrooms plus a 1 bedroom second-floor rear apartment with a private entrance. Exiled on Main Street is available only as a combined vacation rental.

This village home offers a taste of old Ocracoke-style living with the conveniences of a modern home. Beadboard walls and hardwood floors combined with both antique and newer furnishings make this home a truly comfortable blend of yesteryear and today. Updated bedrooms offer modern comforts in a classic beach cottage setting.

Relax on the comfortable covered porch and watch the world go by.

6 Bedrooms and 6 Bath (each with shower). 4 King Beds. 1 Queen. 1 Twin and Pyramid Bunk Bed (double on bottom/Twin on top).

Amenities include central air conditioning/heating, and ceiling fans. Complimentary wireless Internet access and 7 internet TVs. Two kitchens. Dishwasher, 2 full-size refrigerators, and 2 microwaves. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival, with the exception of the top bunk.

The exterior offers a covered front porch, rear covered porch, outdoor shower, enclosed rear yard, and a fish cleaning bench.

No Smoking/Vaping.

Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limited of 2 Dogs. Parking is limited to 6 cars.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at the time of booking.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Property Layout:

First Floor Main House: Living Room, Dining, Eat-in Kitchen, Sunroom, Bedroom with King, shared bath with shower (Bedroom and Dining Room access.) Laundry Room.

Second Floor Main House: Two Bedrooms each with a King Bed and a private Master Bath with a shower. Bedroom with Queen Bed and private Master Bath with shower. Bedroom with Twin Bed, and a Pyramid Bunk (double on bottom/twin on top) and private Master Bath with shower.

Second Floor Apartment: Open Living, Dining, Kitchen. Bedroom with King Bed and private bath with shower.

Our house was excellent. The beach was beautiful. The weather was perfect. Only problem was that we could only stay a week!!!!

The location of the house was perfect for us. The various sitting spaces (front porch, living room, sun porch) gave us plenty of opportunities to visit in small groups. The kitchen size is great, and it is well equipped. There were a few minor issues involving the porch railing (needs fixing) and a broken lawn chair, but they were not a problem. All in all it was a great place to stay for a large family!
