Overall, a fantastic location. Affordable. Love the outdoor shower and the small home. Home was mostly clean. However, I didn't love the 3 light fixtures that were unusable in the house because the bulbs were out. Didn't like the fact that the mini-split A/C filters hadn't been clean in over a year and resulted in an overwhelming odor of humidity and cleaning chemical upon entering the home. Once I cleaned the filters myself, the humidity issue and chemical smell went away. If you are renting this house, bring a few light bulbs and check the dishes for cleanliness. Its hard to have a bad time in Ocracoke so this didn't ruin our stay by any means but just stating what we encountered. We will be back again regardless.

The L was a great place to stay for a couple. We stayed two weeks. It is efficient and comfortable. We used both porches but especially liked the screened-in porch. It has a lot of windows which makes it feel bigger. The galley kitchen had all that one needed for cooking meals. It is tucked away with a good bit of privacy but easy to get to everything. I did not give it 5 stars because of minor ant/bug issue - that could of been because of all the rain we had the first week. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Ocracoke. We really enjoyed the space.

Really enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating my cousin’s 80 th Birthday. Ate out at Dario and the Flying Melon, both great restaurants. Loved the beach, absolutely loved it. We are from Pa. so a two day drive. Next time we will stay longer.
