"Visited March 2021 Highly recommend Bright cottage. Back deck gets the sun , side screened in porch very spacious with good seating. Good amount of cedars and wax myrtle trees gives this place a feel of being tucked away although it is very close to everything! Walking to the Flying Melon restaurant a bonus since parking over there can be a challenge( it was not open when we were there). Well lit front porch and stairs as well as area under porch for grilling , fish cleaning or outdoor shower.King bed very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.Do bring your salt/pepper/ foil/ziplocks etc.). The two couches have electric recliners built in, very comfortable.Parking perfect for our truck under porch. It could fit two but not side by side.Small area at bottom of steps could accommodate one car although it didn’t look like a spot it was obvious a vehicle had parked there.You are close to the neighbors, like the vast majority of rentals on the island and yet private. Small sunny backyard .Delighted to find a place that allowed partial week stays.We will rent here again next visit to OBX"
