"The house was perfect for our needs. We especially liked the screened-in porch. Things are very walkable in Ocracoke and the house was just a couple of blocks from Back Road, which has the Ocracoke Coffee Shop and Zilles Island Pantry. The kitchen was well equipped when we had dinners at the house. Great place!"

"Nice house and very clean. Very private and the screened porch is wonderful. Only problem with the porch is that the door handle comes off in your hand. The kitchen is adequate, but a bit short on plates and spoons. If you had several people in the house your wouldn't have enough dishes for one day. Easily remedied with a few more plates and a bunch of teaspoons. Also couldn't find a cutting board. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms in good shape. "

"The house was very nice with a great location. It was difficult to find. It would be helpful to have a sign indicating it is off the road. The house requires some basic maintenance, a new kitchen faucet, a door knob on the second-floor bathroom, and new mini blinds. Internet equipment is not in a good area. The lights disturbed sleep. The kitchen needs to be better stocked. There was one teaspoon in the kitchen. A teapot would be helpful as well and perhaps a drying rack for dishes.

"Great house - This house is big and plenty of lounging space. Loved the big comfy couch in the tv room. A large yard perfect for the dog. Plenty of privacy. We loved the screened in porch with comfortable Adirondack chairs. Great for evenings listening to the frogs. We could ride our bikes anywhere in the village quickly and easily. The house is quite “vertical” so would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. However for our young family it was great. Extra tv room was helpful for the kids. The huge dining room table was a hit for eating and scooting everything over for board games. A few minor repairs are needed but we communicated that with the owners. Nothing aside from regular wear and tear of a rental. Beautiful house perfectly situated. We just had the best week with our family."

"Very nice place if you solidarity. Very private place although there are neighbor there are also trees . the home cannot be seen from the road. Nice big yard if you have kids plenty of space to have fun . Very nice house and nice porch to enjoy family and not the bugs. A night after a big rain storm the night critters were very loud, crickets, frogs, ect if you enjoy listening to them I do"

"Ocracoke Reality was the best . We got to the island a day early because there was a threat of adverse weather that might suspend the ferry service .So we hustle down to the ferry dock and were lucky enough to get the last ferry to Ocracoke for the day , Being a day early and no accommodations book for the night. My wife search around and found us a room when we were on the ferry .
The next morning I explain to O.R. that were were there early and they said that they would do what ever they could to help us get in early and would message me when ready, Check out time in the hotel was 11 am so we had some time to kill, we checked out about 10 30 and drove around to see what has changed, ,about 11 am I got a message out rental was ready, Thank you Ocracoke Reality for helping us out . The home was top shape , Although the weather and the fishing did not cooperant through the week our accommodations were very nice ,well cleaned "
