"Overall, the house was nice. It was clean, and kitchen was fully equipted, which was great!! I will say, the beds are TERRIBLY uncomfortable, so bring you some sort of mattress topper. The washing machine was tiny, so be prepared to do lots of small loads, if need be. The road was VERY busy, so if you were like me, keep pups close! Oh, and the TVs were missing batteries in the remotes, so it was a good thing we didn't watch much TV. "

"This house has all the potential to be a great vacation home with one huge exception the bed situation. All beds with the exception of one are the worst beds I have ever sept on. I stayed in the back room with the futon and the bed was equivalent to sleeping on the floor. Everything else about the home is great! We made the best of it but lack of sleep is not good for vacation! "

This was a really nicely laid out home, and very clean. It was not fancy, but the furniture was clean and comfortable and it had a lot of space. It was great for bringing older guests who do not want to climb a lot of stairs because of the kitchenette and living room located downstairs. Overall a wonderful stay. We absolutely love coming to Ocracroke and enjoyed our stay this past week immensly!"

This is the second year that we have stayed in Holloman house. The layout of this pet friendly house works very well for us. 2 downstairs bedrooms will sleep a total of 5 and there is a full size sleeper pull-out in the lower den area. Also handy is a small fridge & sink so you can keep snacks/drinks downstairs. There is a full bath downstairs. The upstairs bedroom will sleep up to 4. The kitchen has all of the basics including a crockpot. The screened upper deck porch provides a nice place to catch a breeze and read. There is parking for up to 3 vehicles. 4 stars for this home. For those bringing a dog, it would be nice if the area was fenced or had some type of fenced lot or even a run line. There were also some minor plumbing issues that were more annoying than anything (slow drains, running toilets)Overall this is one of the best pet friendly homes we have stayed in."
