We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at August. The location is great, the kitchen is well stocked, the beds werecomfortable, and the interior design is charming. The outdoor shower and the screened porch are fantastic. The parking is a little tight, but we were able to work around that. Weve been renting thru OIR for 20 years & must say that the keyless entry is a game changer! All vacation rentals should have keyless entry; especially for a large number of people where its difficult to juggle only 2 house keys."

Beautifu, warm, welcoming home! Hundreds of little thoughtful details everywhere. We loved the decor especially-so nautical-felt like a Coastal magazine article! I don't want to tell!! We love this house and we have been coming this week for years and stayed mostly on Silver Lake and last couple years in Oyster Creek. We spend the days out in our boat , fishing and clamming and exploring. This house was chosen for the dock and being dog friendly , and also because we had 2 extra to our family of 4 coming. The bed layout is great!! You have to be a tight family to stay here, being that it is open with the loft. Full of warmth and charm, I would need more than a week to discover all this house has provided. The kitchen is so well stocked and laid out... we are a professional OBX working restaurant family and cooked in all 7 nights ! Of course , morning trips thrown in to Graceful Bakery, Figtree and coffee. Cannot wait to come back next year !!! Our yellow lab , Sweet Pea , slept very well here.
