Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

"Northern pond great pet friendly site - We had a great stay and the few issues we had were addressed quickly. Thank you for a great week of good food, beaches, awesome weather & ice cream for my grandson. Grandson didn't want to leave and asked me next year to rent a house on the sound with a dock so he can fish all day everyday. "

"Visited August 2019 Home away from home Northern Pond was a great home with all the comforts of home. We enjoyed visiting all the local shops, spending our days playing on the beach watching our son teach his daughter to ride waves, and enjoyed the wonderful food from the many restaurants (Dajios, Pony Island, Fig Tree Bakery, Ocracoke Oyster Company, and the Slushie Stand. My granddaughter really loved the golf cart we rented for the week too. Loved being at a true traditional beach, enjoying the time spent with family."
