"We have a love for the older homes on Ocracoke and this is a comfortable one, well supplied, even if a bit rough around the edges. The only real disappointment was discovering the washer didn't work on Tuesday and not hearing back later in the week with an update. "

"Awesome as in years past! The small globe was missing from one of the ceiling fans on the front porch and the washing machine struggled on the spin cycle but other that, great. Looking forward to next year! - Bob Nadler"

"As always, Ocracoke Island and Ocracoke Island Realty are wonderful! Purple Martin was an older property in need of some repairs/updates. We encountered some bugs (ants and cockroaches) likely due to the high water table/recent flooding. A few kitchen items that would be helpful: silicone spatula, pizza wheel, plastic water pitcher. Some minor issues were addressed by Ocracoke Island Realty almost immediately. We enjoyed the screened in porch and spent a good amount of time there together. Overall, a successful trip! "
