OCRAFOLK FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 19 YEARS

THREE DAYS OF MUSIC, STORYTELLING, FINE ART, CRAFTS AND DANCE

This past weekend, the Ocrafolk Festival presented three magical days of entertainment, inspiration and fun. The center of activity took place in the heart of Ocracoke Village at the corner of School Road and historic Howard Street.

Festivities kicked off early Friday afternoon and ran through the evening featuring an eclectic mix of music performed on the Live Oak Stage, a unique outdoor venue nestled among live oaks and cedar trees.  Friday evening’s performances also included dinnertime Jazz at the Ocracoke Oyster Company and progressive bluegrass at Gaffers Sports Pub.

Saturday’s events began early and ran throughout the day featuring music, storytelling, dance and workshops for all ages on four different outdoor stages. So much to enjoy!
