Aptly named, this canal front home in Oyster Creek offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on the beauty of your surroundings. Guests enjoy the privacy and scenic beauty of the neighboring salt marsh and maritime forest located across the canal. Retreat to the outdoors for time spent canal front or on the deck or screened porch.

The primary bedroom includes a sitting area with window seat overlooking the marsh. The primary bath features a soaking tub with amazing views and a separate tiled shower.

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: First floor bedroom with Queen bed. First floor bathroom with shower stall. Second floor Primary Bedroom with King bed and primary bath with soaking tub with a view and a separate large shower stall.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and 2 cable TVs. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers private *small boat dockage, bulkhead, a screened porch, balcony off the master bedroom, hot/cold outdoor shower, picnic table, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking

Fireplace is not available.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 2 vehicles.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

*Boat dockage at this property is located on the inner side of the canal bridge. Height clearance may be limited, dependent upon individual boat height. Boaters should anticipate five foot vertical clearance at high tide. If you have specific questions, please note them in the special request section when making your reservation. Perfect cottage to spend 2 weeks in Ocracoke

We had a great stay. There were a few peccadillos. There were old vanity cabinets and countertop in the master closet. The lighting at the master sink is very bad. I had to go to the downstairs bathroom to get ready. The under cabinet lights in the kitchen do not work, the under microwave light does not work. The cleaning ladies do a great job, but the base boards could use some attention. Also, FYI my husband thinks the condenser to the HVAC is clogged or having some issues. He said you can see where it is leaking on the underside of the house. The house was very well equipped and we really enjoyed using the crab pots, the trees in the back yard are so amazing and we absolutely loved the screen porch. The grill is awesome too!

We loved this house! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with perfect sunsets each night on the back dock. One of the best places we’ve stayed in many years of visiting Ocracoke! The house is well furnished with everything you need for a very comfortable stay.

This has been our favorite OBX home in nearly 20 years of vacationing here. Everything about it - the enclosed porch and open upper balcony, access to the sound from the ladder on the dock, the kitchen/living area, under-the-house parking for our bikes - goodness, everything! Our week spend biking all over the island was wonderful, and having this home to return to each day was a blessing.

Perfect stay
